Ever wonder why we are called Obot? Obot actually means Ozone Robot!
Ozone (O 3) is formed naturally in the ozone layer from atmosphere by exposure to ultraviolet radiation or electric discharge. It can also be produced in the lower atmosphere by photochemical reactions.
The design of our product involves distributing the Ozone gas on the surfaces affected by biofouling (especially oil rigs as we are targeting these vessels).
We plan on doing this with small robots that are mobile and will completely cover the surface required with Ozone.
Obot is designed to anti-foul Oil rigs in an environmental friendly way, to improve the vessels efficiency and protect its structure.
